Dangerous Box

The label on the box
said – “Danger,”
and it rattled when I shook it.

I left it on the shelf,
and glanced at it,
whenever I passed by.

One day
it disappeared,
not to be found.

I felt relieved
and disappointed,
but didn’t look for it.
